For the fifteenth year, artists and craftsmen from across the Kansas Flint Hills and the midwest  and this year in conjunction with celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the historic Sante Fe Trail there will be a  rendezvous in Historic Council Grove to exhibit and sell the artist's  work at this juried fine art show and sale with a theme around the history and art  of the Sante Fe Trail.

The Carnegie Library is the event venue for the weekend show, which runs Friday through Sunday, November 5-7.  A portion of the sale proceeds will be earmarked for painting workshops and other opportunities to promote the art and artists of the Flint Hills.

Show patrons can expect to see everything from oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings to photography, printmaking, weavings and jewelry.  Many antiques are displayed in a gallery atmosphere with the artwork.  These antique treasures are also for sale.   Refreshments are served at the Friday-night opening of the show.

Join us in celebrating the beautiful art and talented artists of the Kansas Flint Hills – and add a splash of local color to your autumn calendar.
